Nurse Manager VNA

As the region’s oldest hospital-based home care agency, South Shore Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) & Hospice has been bringing quality, compassionate skilled care to South Shore communities since 1911. A program of South Shore Hospital, we are one of the state’s largest providers of Medicare-certified home health care.  Our multidisciplinary team works together to identify specific needs of our patients and then develops a customized treatment plan to meet those needs. We provide sophisticated services that once required a hospital stay, and can now be performed successfully, safely, and conveniently in our patients’ homes, utilizing all the latest home care methods and technologies.

Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Director of the VNA, oversees the direct clinical supervision of assigned nursing staff.  Accountable for the quality of services provided on a twenty–four hour basis.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from an NLN–approved school of nursing preferred.  Two (2) years of acute care experience and two (2) years of community health experience preferred.  Registered Nurse.
